Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2014 Petit Village was an odd showing. It felt a little disjointed at first, the wood component not as fully subsumed into the fruit as its Pomerol peers. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin, fleshy in the mouth with black pepper and leather infusing the dark berry fruit, a hint of soy on the frustratingly abrupt finish. I am seeking more vivacity and precision here, a little more charm. I will seek to re-evaluate this at a later point. This was tasted twice with consistent notes.
