Louis Latour : Beaune 1er cru "Perrières" 2015

The 2015 Beaune 1er Cru Perriÿres from Louis Latour is a success, opening in the glass with notes of cherry, raspberry, licorice and bitter orange. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with a sappy core of fruit and fine but firm, chalky tannins which assert themselves on the finish. The raw materials are quite promising.
