Wine Advocate-Parker : The 2014 Chassagne-Montrachet En Pimont comes from limestone soils and sees 10% new oak. It delivers a straightforward bouquet with grapefruit and peach skins aromas, that new oak lending it lift. The palate is fresh on the entry, but it loses a little focus towards the finish and feels a bit too bitter on the finish. Hopefully it will gain more composure post-bottling.
